Ok so for all the bloody junior lawyers out there.....

as said before in this post, I have done 7m logs more than once using the 6-18 and (to make Mr.Maxwell feel better) feel that 'in spirit' I agreed with Inter's comment about doing logs longer than the afore stated 6.3m the thread poster mentioned previously. I do also feel that cutting a 7.1m log with a 6-18 would be no problem. Full stop end of comment.

Begin new comment, When using measurements from the 10-30 I reckon 6.75m using standard rails would be possible and therefore feel that as Carl has a 'smaller' mill than a 10-30, then it would be able to cut a log longer than 6.3m.

Is that ok for all those budding law professionals out there???

So I was going to explain myself again to this ########, but realised I don't need to.

Here's an idea, get off your computer and try to prove me wrong by experience????

jmaxwell I like the setup, especially the steel bolsters with removable stanchions up the front, you would be able to get a decent load of logs on it.
