Default wayne's wood / cedar of lebanon

    G,day all,
Have a decent cedar of lebanon on hand to cut [ about 40 " through main trunk about 25 feet long]. Has anyone any suggestions to the best way to cut [ Lucas saw & slabber ] and what market value is / what would it be used for ?.
I havent cut this stuff befor & will have to sell some to recoup crane hire etc.

    regards wayne

No experience with it but have been told it is highly irritating - blood noses and the like. Some people won't mill it. Suggest you wear coveralls and mask.

I have never had any trouble with them. I don't know what to do with it though I have had a larger one sitting for years well it's a deodar but almost the same tree.

    50/150
    or slab it
    I can do both

but depends on what you want or who you want to sell it to
other wise I would be happy to buy it

One thing its used on is lute necks...quarter sawn ideally. Make enquiries with Tim Spittle of Australian Tonewoods and he may be able to help you out with advice.
