    $500.00 is that all.

Serously keep your money in your pocket have a good look round then decide what you can spend on and work out how much more do you need then consult the financial administration and get forward finance for all the good things you are going to make.

Based on my experience from past years, you will not likely find too many bargains (reduced prices) at the show. Carbatec has some years run a "10% off everything" sort of sale the week before the show, but for orders, not pickup at the show. So check the usual websites the week or so BEFORE the show.

What you will get is the chance to put your hands on a variety of tools and compare them. Specs are one thing, actually seeing the finish of the machine and seeing it demonstrated is another.

I've found specialty items and timber are the best bets, although a couple of years ago H&F had a new thicknesser they released at the show, so sometimes these new items appear at just the right time.

Have fun, and try not to bring any cash home...

What the other said. Keep your money in you wallet. and just "tyre kick". In the past there have been very few real bargains. Oh! don't expect H&F there this year. They are having a Wood show sale at their Dandenong store on 17th & 18th Oct instead.
I will be having my annual spend-up at the CWS & Ubeaut stands.

You need to have an idea of what you want and the prices before you go. This applies to any shopping expedition, not just the WW shows. The people who generally get the bargains are the ones who have done their homework and can identify them.

Train yourself to know the prices, it is the best way (or take a list).

www show...Mmmmm can't wait for it!!!!....is like Disney land for me
Doesn't the major machinery shops like carbatec, H&F, etc have free delivery not 100% sure though
But great place to pick up tools with out waiting and paying for delivery, ask the ppl questions and advice, and meet forum members
not to mention lots of demonstrations and slight discount on timber ...(I think)

Oh yea on the last day there is usually some sort of discount...and lastly $500 is not gonna last for the day, you will be easily tempted by small hand tools and spend money on them, on food, and wish you had more money with you on the day

Not sure if Frontline will be there, if they are, off load $300 on the bandsaw jig. Best money you will ever put into your shed/workshop. Its a modern classic.
