Brisbane Forum Stand - HELP WANTED

I have volunteered and am on the roster for friday how do i get in - is there a protocol - special pass or something
please advise

I live locally and usually turn up on at least two days to the show...So why not make it three. Put me down for a couple of hours on all three days...if there is any room left! Looks like lots of people are willing to support important events like this. Good for all!

Hi Quatro,
Pretty shortly, I will be sending out PMs to all of the rostered people, with my mobile number. The idea is to call me as you approach the entry to the show, tell me who you are (Forum name, of course, 'cos that's how I have you on the roster) and we'll exchange sufficient descriptions so we can recognise each other at the entrance - I then vouch that you are a legit. participant, and in you come - at least that is what assures me, & no-ne argues with ......

If anyone doesn't have a mobile phone, PM me now, & we'll see if there is any other arrngement we can make.....

Hi Ben & Charles, I'm attaching the current roster to this post. There are some gaps remining, so please take your pick of whichever slots you would be able to fill.

Two people (Baldone & Sapling) indicated early on that they wished to volunteer, but have not replied with with a time they would be available. I have now removed them from the draft roster, so if you are still wanting to participate, please choose from the remaining times on the attached roster, & let me know.......

Shedman, thanks. However, the 11-12 slot is well-covered. There are still spare slots from 2 to 5 on Friday, if you can manage any of those....

Thanks astral - I put you down for 1400-1600, but if you need to get off earlier, that's fine. As I thinkI have said previously, things tend to go suddenly quiet during that last hour or so of the day.

That means we have Friday pretty well covered, now.....

Not a bad idea, Duke, easier to read a name badge than trying to figure out a description - I'll suggest it when I PM with mobile numbers, etc.
