Due to the fact that there will be several reprobates in attendance on Friday (RufflyRustic, Cliff, Midge et al) I think that a security sweep will be required!
Cliff will fail the aforementioned sweep if he doesn't bring those muffins & they had better be fresh! not the 3 year old stale ones he has been hoarding On the other hand bitingmidge, who mentioned something like... he would provide "Kopi Luwak coffee" the most expensive coffee in the world @ $40.00 USD a cup...YUMMMM!!! is guaranteed to pass I'll definitly be there for coffee & muffins!

Re: Working with Wood Show Brisbane 2008
We have had a few enquiries as to whether we will be at the Working with Wood Show.
No, we won't have a Stand there, but remember our online shopping website is up and running, and if you can't find there, just contact us and we will be happy to try and source your sandpaper requirements.
We may have what you are looking for, but it may not be on our website yet.
Hope you all have a good time, and buy plenty of sanding machines. The Sandpaper Man.

I think the Indian bloke out near the Timber shed has metal work tools.
I'm here.... (Brissy) Mr. Saw Stop rang me last night to go out but I had just arrived at my boy's place after getting lost & I had been walking for an hour so I said "Pass".
I'll be heading off in half an hour.Cliff.

Home for a shower & then out for a drink with Mr. Sawstop & then dinner with my kids.
Met heaps of people.
Bitingmidge & MajorPanic were in the line to get in at the gate.
Major had his new camera & took a pic of Christoph's shiny head.
Chris wants him to post it so Neil can see that he was doing some work.
I saw... (well, some of them saw me first)
Bitingmidge
MajorPanic
Old Croc
Bob38S
Christopha
Jim Carrol
Rudigar
Bdar
Underfoot
robyn2839
Gizmo
Log Dog
Mapleman
Artme was there somewhere but I didn't see him.
Also saw some of the regulars from the Prossy Turnout.
I bought...
a couple of cups of coffee, a bit of tool steel & a tool bit holder from McJing.
Took several brochures & watched Brendan demo his $5500 sausage nicker.
There was 3 seconds of stunned silence after it went off so I said "I missed it."
I'm fairly sure I will buy a Gifkins tomorrrow.
I didn't take any photos.... too busy talking.
There was some good stuff there but I think the show is shrinking.Cliff.

[quote=TEEJAY;737133]I have found in the past Friday is crawling with school kids in uniform.
well i have to say that you are absolutely right ,the bloody kids were everywhere, would have been a good turnout without those pimply faced persons, but still a good day was had. met up with a few forumites, bought some wood that i don't need , and worked out, that for what items i need ,i could get out of it for under $25-30,000.plus another 5 to spend on more wood i dont need in tassie.and a new boat ,and ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????.wake up bob , i,m dreaming, like some of those timber sellers at the show ........serously though it was a good day worth going, and catching up with faces to put to the names ,,,bob
