Default Things to buy at the show

There are only a few thing I want to buy this year. A LN dowel plate, a box of Domino biscuits, a bottle ubeaut shallac and whatever my good mate Greg Ward can throw at me.

I'll have that....and that....and that......and,oh looky there I'll have one of them as well. What's that dear? No the kids don't need to eat for the next fortnight!

Got a few things on the list, coincidentally, a LN dowel plate is one of them. A bit more Ubeaut as well. Got to pick up some timber from a couple of forumites. Some carborundum stuff.

Going to see if I can strangle a good price out of someone for a bandsaw. I noticed on their website that H&F aren't going to be there. Hope Carbatec are.

Lots of stuff to see, looking forward to it. Although I don't think the fun vouchers will equal what I will say to myself I can't live without.

Scott, will be interesting to see what you pick up versus your little wish list.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

    Default timber

It will be strange to be in out of the rain, won't show the timber colours, so Scott, please bring your own water spray.

Very sadly, due to an extreme lack of time over the past 12 months, most of last year's wood show purchases are still on the floor of my study

But, that sure isn't an excuse to not buy stuff this year . I need to grow my clamp collection, pick up some timber, some U-Beaut finishes, some T-track, Jim Carroll usually has some of my cash land his way, and whatever else catches my eye.

I have to say the demo list doesn't look as exciting this year. I really do miss the old days with Richard Vaughan, although Neil Scoby last year was excellent. Most of the demo's now seem to be focused on wood turning, not so much furniture making.

I'm looking forward to getting some new toys - I'm sure they will enjoy meeting the current stockpile on my floor. I hope they all get on, they've got around 12 months to spend together.

    Nathan.

Shame on you. At least some of mine are in the cupboard, just not sure which cupboard.

    Default sunshine

All inside this year! and very congested as a result.
No trucks allowed, the semi and Mal's truck are unloaded, I think there is enough timber to get tens of thousands of dollars of carbon credits.
Not much space to move timber around. It will be different to what we are used to when there was plenty of space around the trees, and we didn't really mind the rain.

I didn’t get my LN dowel plate or Domino biscuits because there was none left. So I was a little disappointed.

I got a bottle of shellac from a beautiful lady called Pauline. She insisted not to take my money. She is such a lovely lady (You are a lucky man uBeaut) . It’s great to catch up with the boss, stopper and briefly with .

Greg kept a few bits wood for me and they were absolutely beautiful. Thanks Greg.

I kept running into friends and had a chat with each one of them. My 7 hours went so quickly. Overall I had a great time.
