I am happy to help out at some stage over that weekend. I was planning to attend on Friday and or Sunday afternoon, but I am a little flexible about timing.

As a Life Member of the ACT Woodcraft Guild I have a three day commitment with the Guilds Annual Exhibition and various stands at the Show however on Friday and Saturday I am available for a couple of hours, if you take on organising Ray get in touch for further help.

I think there needs to be a lot more volunteers for the forum stand.
It is only a little while to go before the start of the show.

Happy to spend an hour or two Fri or Sat or Sun on the forum stand and/or packing up Sun. I don't have much in depth knowledge but can field general queries and can probably steer people to appropriate stands for their interests.

Ok, Friday's out as one of my boys is in a mountain bike race and Sun is out for Fathers day. I can do a couple of hours on Sat but one of my boys is playing a footy final which we don't know the time of yet. When I know the time then I will be able to finalise my availability
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Canberra WWW Roster
Fellow woodies
I've got the job of preparing the Canberra WWW roster. So here is the first draft attached for your review.
As you will see I have placed your forum name against allotted time slots where you have specifically nominated days and times. Thanks for nominating.
Also you will see the Orange boxes which identify a number of vacant time slots for you to nominate against. We also need some more hands with the pack up at the end of the show on Sunday.
I have included the list of forum names, below the roster, of people who have indicated they are willing to help out but need to confirm which day(s) and times they will be available.
At this stage I have set the roster up with two people manning the stand each hour. I don't know if two is adequate or whether we need three as a minimum, but I'm just working on the premise of two people manning the stand each hour.
My intention is to only publish the roster with our forum names to protect people's privacy. I will follow up with a private message to each of you seeking contact details closer to the event for final coordination particularly if people need to pull out at the last minute and also to arrange entry.
Unfortunately my family has arranged for me to be out of town on Saturday & Sunday but I hope we can have the roster nicely confirmed on the Friday at the latest before I am away.
If you have any suggestions wrt the rostering, please let me know. I look forward to our collective participation, which will be the first time for me, but I am looking forward to it.
