    I must be missing something.
Can't find anything on this show except how to buy tickets and it is only two and a bit weeks away.

    Hi,
It is going to be interesting to see how they make it interesting, with Wood Dust stealing all the retailers and the Woodworkers Guild having had their display at the National Botanic Gardens.
I will still check it out as usual.
    Regards
    Hugh

I suppose some businesses have held back to see what happened with Wood Dust.
Will keep a look out on the website for progress.

Yes, I agree. It will be interesting.
Wood Dust seemed to be very successful.
I hope they post something soon.

Publicity/advertising/social media for these shows under the new management seems to be a complete shambles.

I usually go to the Canberra show, and enjoy it, but this year might be a break with tradition. Is an exhibitors list too much to ask (2 weeks out...)?????

No information on demos to be found on their website, let alone exhibitors. Who knows what will be there? Too far to travel (for me) without having some idea what you're going to find at the other end.

For this year's Melbourne Show the exhibitor's list was out late and no floor plan was ever published to the public as far as I am aware.

Despite this it was still the best TWWW Show in Melbourne for quite a few years.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Anyone going to the Canberra Timber and working with wood show on 10 and 11 November are welcome to come out to the Hall Mens Shed where we have a large museum of wood working tools with a lot for sale. We will be open on Saturday morning 10:00 to 12:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 1:00. Other times can be arranged as required, just PM me. We are located in Palmer Street Hall at the at old School site. Hall School Museum will also be open on the Sunday. They have a large of Exhibition depicted early life in the area.

I might just be able to drop in on my way in on the Barton Hwy - I will be in Canberra for the weekend.

I will be involved in the Remembrance Day stuff as my Partner, Jools is one of the people who made the Poppy display at the War Memorial.

I hope to be able to go to the TWWW Show and hopefully can make Hall Mens' Shed too.

    Looks like a busy weekend.

It would be great to see you the shed. You will find it most interesting.

The associated museum is holding a remembrance day ceremony on Sunday to open their new display. It is on at 11:00. A number of the ladies also did poppies for the War Memorial. They also have their own poppy display. Jools would be most interested.

Below is a reference to the exhibition.

    Thanks Graham,

I will be a bit busy on Sunday at 11am at the Remembrance Day ceremony at the War Memorial.

I hope to time it right to be driving through your way at 10am on the Saturday for a quick visit when you open.

I will have Jools and another of the Melbourne ladies who is part of the 5000 poppies project travelling with me.

Time will be my scarcest commodity that weekend but I will do my best to call in.

Given the ladies travelling with you part of the poppies project, they may be interested in the poppy display at the Hall museum. A number of the ladies made poppies for the War Memorial Museum. I attached an article of one of the ladies who made 500 poppies which are still on display at the museum. The museum will be open until 4:00pm on Sunday.
