I did not post a many pics of the show and what was on offer but one thing I was stoked to see a new adaptation of the shelix spiral cutters.
I had pondered why they dont make them for eletric planers. As I have a carpentry back ground and am active again in the building industry it was if particular interest when I saw this
Now they even had it set up with dust extraction. Not something I am likely to do onsite but good to know
I have ordered one and will do a review as soon as I have put it through its paces. I will start a thread for the review and post a link here for anyone interested.
I use an 18v makita planer almost daily on the job. The cutter has been tested and demonstrated on the corded version but I will try it on the 18v. If it does not fit I will try it on my corded version and provide feedback.

I would like to thank IanW and Neil for their generosity and kind donation of the prizes for the draw for the volunteers. I was lucky enough to get the marking gauge's and they are most appreciated and will be put to good use the hard part will be the first time they look so nice I don't want to put my mucky hands on them.
Thanks again regards Rod.
