Default Last chance for free entry, filling up now.

Well, it is approaching the time of the year for the biggest and best show - Melbourne!

As usual, I will be looking for people who would like to man the stand and assist me.

I have put up on my website the schedule for shifts over the three days. Get in early and get the shift of your choice and, of course, free entry to the show!

Ideally, I like two hour blocks to be filled as it makes scheduling easier (but will now take 1 hour stints). Typically, you turn up at a pre-arranged time or call me on arrival, I then come out with your ticket. A phone number will be provided to volunteers before the event.

Over previous years most volunteers have found it a good way to catch their breath and meet a bunch of other forumites. Members will often attend the stand on a few days and really take the time to see the show and all the displays and demonstrations; in my view, this is the best way to do it.

The list seems not up to date Groggy. I can do Whatever. Let me know what you want. Sunday morning would suit me best. But I should be able to do anytime.

    Greg,

My roster for that week is out and I do not have to go to work on the Thursday either. So if you need a hand setting up let me know.

I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Thursday setup is usually fairly leisurely and just needs some bits carried in. The rest is done in the morning on Friday so I should be pretty right, thanks for the offer anyway.

Still opportunities for people to help out and get free entry to the show. Help out for an hour, it is a pretty easy gig, just tell people what the forums offer them - for free!

Spots available on all three days (wherever my name is).

Yeah come on guys, this is Melbourne also known as the wood working capital of the world.

You can not allow Groggy to do all the shifts and it is after all a very easy task to hand out flyers and chat to people. Even if you are a bit shy just talk amongst your selves at the stand. So two people for every hour is what is needed.

    Default 19 days to go...

Just under three weeks to the Melbourne Timber and Working With Wood Show!

I am looking for people who would like to man the stand and assist me.

I have put up on my website the schedule for shifts over the three days. Get in early and get the shift of your choice and, of course, free entry to the show!

I am looking for members who can spare an hour or two to talk to people and let them know about the forums.

Typically, you turn up at a pre-arranged time or call me on arrival, I then come out with your free ticket. A phone number will be provided to volunteers one week before the event.

Over previous years most volunteers have found it a good way to catch their breath and meet a bunch of other forumites. Melbourne and Victorian woodies have never been this slow in helping Groggy in past years.
