    Default SYDNEY T&WWW Show 2016 FORUM STAND - HELP

    Help wanted for Forum Stand at:
    Sydney Timber & Working With Wood Show
    June 24th, 25th & 26th 2016

    We have been asked to have a Forums Stand again at this years Sydney Show. Short notice I know, but brisbane got there stand organised and together in 2 weeks so surely Sydney can do it in almost 3 weeks.

    We need people who will be able to give some of their time to man the stand on any or all of the following days Friday, Saturday and Sunday also set up the stand on Thursday and help pack up Sunday evening.

    Anyone who volunteers to help out will get free entry for the day(s) they are rostered on to help.

    Sorry it is such late notice but hope to be able to get a good roll up. It has been suggested that members bring along some of their work for show and tell or display and to talk about. This can be for the entire length of the show or just for the time or day you are rostered on. This is an idea to create a bit more interest on the stand and for the forums.

    If you would like to help out please respond in this thread with name preferred time and day(s).

    We also need someone who's dumb enough brave enough to voulunteer to organise roster and take charge of the running of the stand as Christos won't be able to do it this year.

    Hi Neil,
    I'm only able to attend on the Friday this year so I'm happy to do any time slot Friday afternoon but probably not in a position to organise the roster nor take charge of running the stand.

    C'mon folks we need a stand Organised/guardian and roster maker.

    I know it's only early days but gotta keep it up there in hope of getting someone, otherwise there may not be a stand.

    I have managed to to get all 3 days off for this years show (advantages of writing your own roster) and am happy to help out all 3 days. I could even assist in trying too organise with the running and setup on Thursday.

    I know it's only been a few days but hey....
    It's gone a bit quiet in here.
    Any more takers!

    We need to get a few more helpers before I can say the stand is a definite goer.

    Don't want to leave it all to half a dozen people on Friday and only a couple for the rest of the weekend.
    We need more Saturday and Sunday helpers so if you can spare an hour or so please stick your name down here.

    I can do a couple of hours between 11 and 2 on Friday, and anytime between 11 and closing on Sunday, not 100% sure what is happening on Saturday at the moment.

    Only 3 weeks to go, looking forward to a great show.

    I am available to do an hour each day but not 12-20 on friday ,10-12 saturday or 2-4 sunday as I will be demonstrating with Sydney woodturners at those times .
