At this present time the roster is full on Friday, might have you guys as reserves for anyone dropping out on Friday.

Can I persuade you guys to consider helping on the Sunday.

Christos does this mean the stand is small or you thing that the show will be smaller than previous. I mean look at last years Victoria table and area they even had a display table of works. Surely Sydney can do better.???

Especially with such an enthusiastic man like yourself.

I understand how much fun it is helping out on the forum stand. Part of the reason to put up my hand with organizing. In total we have 21 hours over the three days for the show. As we require two people per hour makes 42 hours(volunteers).

As you will notice there are options for the Friday where I can drop my allocated shift and become a floater. The term floater in this case I will take from thefreedictionary.com and change one word 3. An (employee) volunteer who is reassigned from job to job or shift to shift within an operation.

This is not new and not something that I made up as it was mention by other members who said that they are happy to be floating in during the day. So each day we will have about 3 to 4 floaters based on the members that have volunteered so far.

Many have pointed out that train access to Homebush Stadium site is great.

For those who maybe using public transport, trains in particular may I suggest keeping an eye on the trackwork dates this one finishes just days prior the show. Planned track work for Olympic Park rail line - Sydney Olympic Park Authority

You'll also need to check your own service line.

If you have to transfer to buses you might want to consider the size of your buys.

Then again as VEK tools suggested have them delivered after the show.

    floater can also mean

an undesirable person who hangs out in a particular area despite being discouraged not to.

a piece of fecal matter that won't go down the toilet when it is flushed.

    a corpse floating in water.

I would like to request those persons that going to attend the show on Sunday to consider looking at volunteering for the forum stand.

If you have questions on what is expected from you as a volunteer then please post in this thread.
