I think well be good, if there are a few of US there who don't know much, as long as we don't all not know the same stuff. If we all all knew everyuthing I don't think it would be as much fun.

I could be available on Sunday morning, but a question first please. How loud does it get? Normal conversation level or shouting across a table?

There is a bit of a buzz but nothing that in my experience requires you to shout. The Forums' stand is likely to be one of the quieter spots at the Show.
Cheers

Many thanks for everyone who has volunteered over the last little while. I have added everyone into the roster and updated the spreadsheet to allow for the third person to start their one hour stints at half past the hour. Rather than just pasting in the data I have saved the current spreadsheet in a pdf and attached it. The blue boxes are inactive.
As you can see, Friday looks to be well populated and Saturday is well on the way! Sunday seems very unpopular - I hadn't realised that woodworkers were all at churchCheers

I just went out the the garage/shed have to find some stuff to take to the show LOML gave me a hand I was going to do some turning while she came back indoors. An Arctic wind is blowing straight into the garage even if I closed the door and turned the little fan heater on it wouldn't help.
So yes trouble typing due to cold.
Now when heading back inside the young 17 yr old bloke 3 doors up is walking round in a T-shirt ............oh do I recall those days.

Straight off the southern polar ice cap... I think the computer was having trouble too - ice in the the USB sub-system. Keyboard was only responding to its own random selection of keystrokes. Reboot fixed that . Didn't fix my fingers though: still jolly cold, and the fan heater isn't cutting much of the ice...
Cheers,
Alex.

Like some others, I feel inadequately qualified to man the
stand. But I'd like to help, since people on WWF have helped
me in the past many many times. So maybe I could tell others
about those good experiences.
I'll only be at the show on Friday (though not if the weather is
absolutely foul), and I gather that Friday is already well-manned?
But I'll come to the stand first thing Friday morning after I arrive,
and find out then whether I can make myself useful during any slots
later in the day.
Cheers.
