Note sure yet, but will try and get a day off work and go on the Friday, then take my old man on Saturday. And with the misses needing to be picked up from the airport on Sunday afternoon, if I forget anything on those two days its a good excuse to head back on the Sunday while I'm up in Sydney.

Not sure what I will buy yet.... thinking about taking the trailer to get some larger timber. How have people found taking trailers to the Sydney show? Can you park them in the Fox multi-story carpark?

    Cheers,
    Nathan.

There are a few things on the back of my mind. Second hand jointer plane, only problem with me it will be a bit of a hit and miss if I get one that I can tune.

General look around at the works people have made. Might even take a look at what this fellow Dave had created.

I will be going on the Friday and Saturday and Sunday if I can. Will be taking the other half on the Saturday so might not be able to do much.

Christos is she they (the female's) into their own crafts many cross over with needs of woodworkers. Some of the club displays have items of need.

If they are there is also the Craft and Quilt Fair on at Darling Harbour over the same weekend.

She is not into craft or sewing. This is going to be the first time that she will be going to a wood show. I am not sure what she may find interesting. The male friend that I will be going with on the Friday is into boats but does not do much more then look and chat. Last year we spent most of our time at the section of the show. I guess I will be playing a little by ear as the saying goes.

Hoping to also catch up some of the people on this forum.

Must be a little distracted. I though the show opens at 10am, now I understand why you mention by 09:30 you will be over the kids on the Friday, 30 minutes later. Then I should come along and ask some questons like?

    Did you carve this?
How long did it take you to carve it?
Are you not a little young to be carving? Thought older people carve things?

(Pretty sure that is what you said last year)

Scott, unless you go on Friday, you won't know if I have my regular.

"If a man is after money, he's money mad; if he keeps it, he's a capitalist; if he spends it, he's a playboy; if he doesn't get it, he's a never-do-well; if he doesn't try to get it, he lacks ambition. If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."
