Dave, I'll help you spend your money on trivials.
Christos, might Jane enjoy a day without your company And then you take her out for tea that night
Ray, I'm sure you have some pocket money by then.
Wingo, Szechuan Beef for me this year, warms the cockles of heartPat

This is a wood show
Listen guys... enough of the food!
This is a wood show and you are there to buy WOOD
I spent last weekend up with Mal, finding black walnut and huon and praying for the rain to stay in Wollongong for the next week or so.
So.... he's cut up some large Qld maple slabs, over 1 metre wide.
I've asked him to get the thicker pieces huon, but also to collect some wild grain qld maple pieces he has lying around.
We cut up a red mahogany, that will be used as part of a 'land' ship at Pittwater... more of that in the future.
Anyway. It's looking wet again, so you will get to see all the grain colours I guess.

I am not too sure that will be such a good idea, how will she know if she likes it or not? This is the first time that she will be going to such a show. I asked a question about partners on this thread https://www.woodworkforums.com/f11/pa...-shows-118500/ . In the past I have dragged all manner of people to the show but not partners, that got me thinking why not? If Jane was into Stitches and Craft then changes are I would be there with her on Sunday.

lol...
I don't know what the fuss is about when it comes to food.
It's twice the price, and half the taste of what it should be.

Wood is full of fibre then again I have had Broccilli thats been as tough as wood (not LOML's cooking).
Greg's only jealous Mal won't allow him other than a meat pie or sausage sanger n coffee and he has to eat that on the run.
Hey Greg what about tools.
Yes my budget extends to the Huon I asked for Greg.
If I get to have lunch with you fellows Luksa Prawn or chicken or veg.

Pity there's no response to this thread calling for volunteers to help man the forum stand.
If you're genuinely interested in helping and getting a very special entry for your troubles then reply to the thread above.
Great response in Melbourne and Brisbane from members. Be good to see Sydney-siders do the same.
