    Default stock

Sorry guys, can't assist with manning the stand. I'll be outside washing the timber and cursing the rain.
Going up to see Mal this long weekend to pack a few more pieces of stock.
The rain of last week has disappeared, so he is getting some work done.
White beech butt log ended up all punky, so that stock will be short
Rosewood and huon and red cedar and mackay cedar and walnut and qld maple and tas myrtle and blackwood and camphor and silky oak should all be OK.
More when I see what he is preparing when I return next week

    9 days to go....

    Greg

Just found out that CT's sale starts on Tuesday instead of Tomorrow. It is a bit silly because most of us will miss it because of work. They might get a big crowd next week but no one will be buying. Damn CT what are they thinking.

    Hi guys

I will be there on Friday as well - I am demonstrating on the SWTG stand for a couple of hours in the morning, then free to wander.

Not having met any of you guys (except Alistair and Eskoban), how do I know who to say hello to? I've got half a chance of identifying Wheelin/Ray on the Ornamental Turners stand, but the rest of you ....? We need badges with our forum names on.

If you are wandering past the SWTG lathes, look for the badge that says Colin (60, short hair and a white beard) and say hello.

    cheers, Colin

I'll make sure I'm on the stool and chair is well hidden just to confuse.

Colin many a forumite wears a Forum shirt or cap not all but some others go incognito dressed in civies?. One fellow has been seen wearing a bow tie on St Timbers Day (Friday).

As for me I will be starting my day at the Woodworkforum stand. I can ask the same question. Then in the afternoon I am on again at 16:00 so there you have twice the chance to come and say hello.

Like the pdf on the eee website?

Plenty of money pits there Dave, even Hairy Forbes will be there, which is good. I just wish Henry Brothers would turn up one year.

Yes, I was hoping Henry Bros would be there so I can get a better bandsaw blade. I hardly ever get out towards their Vinyard way nowadays.

Who else will be there who I can get a good blade off? Or would you still recommend me making the trip to Vineyard?

    Nathan.
