You who have been following Derekcohen's Apothecary Chest build and would like to see it in the flesh (walnut) here is your opportunity. Only three days to go!
    Cheers,
    Geoff.

I had a look at the web page but there's not list of when the demos are on, so can't plan when to be there

Generally a minimum of one full day is necessary.

Thanks fo the reminder Geoff. I haven't been for a while so I thought it might be time to go again but the state of my knee puts it out of reach for me this year.

Sorry to hear about your knee Bob, I was looking forward to saying g'day. I'll have a bag trolley there, would that be of any help?
    Cheers,
    Geoff.

We had a big day today at the WA Woodshow, it was good to catch up with some old friends. I took a few photo's first up before the crowds arrived. The last four are the HTPSWA sales, displays and demo's area.
    Cheers,
    Geoff.

I haven’t been following the build but I had a chance to see the chest yesterday at the show and it is very impressive. Excellent quality.

Popped down to the show today for a sqizz, I picked up some second hand tools and watch a woodturning demo, had a drool at the helical cutters.
I did get to see Derek's chest which wasn't quite as big as what I expected from watching the thread but it did not disappoint, excellent work.
The one thing that did catch my eye was the zipper table, hadn't seen one like that before. There was a good crowd there and I had an enjoyable time managing to get to and from the car in between showers

There are some beautiful works of art in the fine wood working competition, the zipper table as Warrick mentioned is a ripper. Also a timber and concrete tricycle, a lovely grandfather clock, a three dimensional chess set and a turned vase with a gecko hanging on grimly.
Finally, a part of my display, a couple of US patents that were having birthdays Friday and yesterday.
Apologies for the poor quality of my photos.
    Cheers,
    Geoff.
