I will be there on the Saturday, probably around 11.00, and I think there are a few others lined up for the same day. Not sure if anyone has planned to meet up at this stage.

Allan, missed you in the crowds.
So what did people score?
I was happy to get a platter sized lump of well coloured camphor laurel, bowl blank crotch piece of crow's ash and a figured bowl blank of southern mahogony. Also a couple of unhandled Crown turning tools at half price: 32mm wide skew and a dovetail chisel which was cheaper than a HSS blank.
Raffan was interesting at the lathe. Sure works fast.Cheers, Ern

I thought bargain of the day was some veneers I bought, $2 a leaf.
From a non cost perspective, watching people like Raffan and Stephen Hughes turning was a highlight.
