T&WWWS Brisbane, who's going?
Alright, I know I'm getting in rather early, but I'm unable to do much else at the moment. The Timber and Working with Wood show is on in Brisbane, April 20-22. I'm planning on going and am pretty flexible on days, just wondering if some forumites might want to catch up. I'll be taking a drive down and may possibly be bringing down a load of timber to sell if there's enough interest from forumites. Most probably silver ash and Qld maple, but possibly also other rainforest species. I'll start a new thread when I can, with species, dimensions and prices. I'l be able to bring down up to 3 cubic metres, so there should be plenty.

Buzzer,
will you be wearing your U-Beaut cap (you do have one, don't you? ) or your RFS one?

All going well I'll be there Saturday. Not really going for purchasing just to have a look and catch up with other members!

Just to clarify, I wasn't planning on taking timber to the WW show and either setting up a stall or trying to sell it in the car park . I thought if there were enough interest I'd meet up somewhere, probably the week before with purchasers. If anyone is buying a fair quantity and they're located between Cairns and the Gold Coast I could drop it off. A bit early just yet to make plans, wait till I find out what I can get and I'll let everyone know.

I'll be going Friday - I have to work Saturday and all the good stuff is gone by Sunday I am hoping to swing by another forumite's place on Friday afternoon after the show to pick up some timber there too.
Cheers

I am planning to go Fri/Sat. Hadn't realised it was early this year in Bris.
Sorry Mick re timber, my yard is still a mess of logs from work and those floor board seconds, so no room for more. However, if you have some smaller highly figured stuff I could use in the lathe, I can always be temptedNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

I am hoping to go on Friday or Saturday - not sure yet, depends when I need to go to work . I won't commit as I hoped to go last year, missed out, put my hand up to go to Rockers place and to Majors' gtg but in both cases I have been working long hours and could not get time away .
I have commitment issues , but I keep my fingers crossed for some "quiet time" (haven't been in the shed since January when I built a bookcase from some of E mac's reject flooring!)
