    Will do Friday 2pm too.

Just thinking about the larrikans I met last year. Maybe I'll meet that dude with the shed filled to the rafters with Huon pine again!

Twist twist, Mr Huon Pine Man!

    Lucky bugger.

They are the most fun to deal with, unless you are a police person.

How about a free pass to the Canberra wood show, if you can give us an hour or so on the forum stand you can have free entry on the day.

We're doing well so far with 2 or 3 that are happy to fill where there are still holes. Closer the time.

Thanks to all helping so far

    Default I'll have a go...

It's my first wood show so I might as well see it from both sides! You can put me down for 2pm on Saturday for a couple of hours. I'll also try to help out with a slot earlier on Friday or Saturday morning so that I know what I'm supposed to be doing...

Looking forward to seeing what these shows are all about and meeting up with the other woodies!
    Seeya there.

    Dave,

Please tell me this does not mean you'll miss the meeting Friday night and demonstrating at the local show on Sunday?

    (tongue in cheek)

    Default Newbs...

For us volunteering newbs, what do we need to know?

How do we prove we are who we say we are when we turn up?

What is the standard of dress etc. ?

Is there a checklist (fill urn, feed cat etc.)?

    Thanks,

    Craig

    G'day Craig.

I will send PMs with my contact details on the next day or so. You don't really need to know anything special.

When you get there you can give me a call and I will come out and meet you and give you a pass for free entry.

If you know how to post on the forum and can share some basic details for a yo e who wants to know that is good. Anything you or the person with you does not know we can call and he will come o er to the stand and assist.

There is a Down load on the site where you can print off a forum lapel card and you can put your user name and or personal name on there so people know who you are.

Dress, just clean. I don't think there is any special requirement there

    Regards

    Dave

Problem is I've lost my black thongs and don't have blue polish for my blue thongs.
