Default Photos - Yes I was there today at the Sydney Wood Show

Photos - Yes I was there today at the Sydney Wood Show....
There was a steady stream of visitors, school kid and forum members....
I got to met & chat with a few very nice people whom I only previously met in cyber-space plus catchup with some old mates.
Some members traveled quite a long distance to visit the show.
I didn't buy much, just some Gorilla Glue on special and a toy wheel cutter but saw others with big loads of timber & goodies.
I've tried to take a sample selection of photos [happy snaps] of the show, some of the timber, a couple of displays, the forum stand & the gathered assembly and of course our benevolent director getting ready & hard at work.
I had a good day out meeting people and handing our forum information flyers though the drive home was tiresome.
For all the other helpers & show goers, have a beaut weekend.
    Cheers, crowie

I would just like to give a word of thanks to Christos for organising the roster.

Had a great time and finally met some very interesting forum members.

    Default Forum days

Another enjoyable trip to the wood show.

Good to see familiar faces and meet a few more forumites.

I picked up a couple of important items and managed to resist greater temptations.

Great job Christos. Your are a gentleman and a scholar.

I just want to add my voice to the chorus of praise firstly for Christos. Volunteering to organise volunteers is like herding cats and Christos did it successfully with much grace and good humour, Thanks mate....
My second vote of thanks goes to Uncle Neil. Without his effort and contribution the forum wouldn't even be there and I would have missed out on meeting many fellow woodworkers and true life characters. Thanks again.....

It is very easy when you have so many people volunteering.
