Hi formites, We have the last spot filled on Saturday but still many seconds not filled but more people have put their hand up, great to see.

Neil has asked that rostered volunteers give me their mobile phone number so I can put it on the roster so you can call the person on at the time you arrive at the show so they can come and get you in. Neil said call him if you get other answer to your call. I assume Neil will have a pass card to give them for this purpose. Neil said he may be bussy at the time as he has his own display to run and this is what they do at the other shows. I will only send the roster to those rostered on and not post it for general viewing on the web site, let me know your number ASAP so I can get all done before Thursday please.

Come on Brisbane looks like some more volunteers are needed.

It is not difficult task to be on the forum stand, just hand out a flyer and if the person wants to chat about the forum then you just speak about your own experiences.

sorry about the late offer but wasn't sure if I could attend. Would like the opprtunity to meet some locals & help out. If I'm wanted what are the best travel arrangements from sth wst Bris? Any parking nearby or is train from Sherwood best option. Also prefer not to travel from here during peak hour traffic(chaos). Avail. any day.

Hi Kiwi - Train to Fortitude Valley stn is probably closest, then about 1/2k walk. The Exhibition station only operates at Ekka time and is probably just as far a walk anyway.
Check out the translink journey planner for times and costs, it lets you look at all public transport options esp. if you use your address as a start point.

WWS.jpgHere is the path I take Kiwi. At the rip-off machines at the exit to the station, take a left out to the carpark. Follow the Yellow stripes out to Alfred St, either take Julia, Constance or Green Square close to St Paul Tce. Right down to Alexandria St. Entry at the end of Alexandria St. Only problem with the train is carrying the new tools and wood home Also I prefer Greens Square Close as I miss having to walk past a pub that way so safer for me. (The building with Red roof cnr of St Pauls Tce and Constance St.)

Me too.

I'll be leaving at approx 5:30 am and hope to be there [roadworks etc co-operating] by opening time so I can do some extra.

Anyone at all hesitant - don't be - I can almost guarantee 110% you will have no problems, meet some great people, learn something new, have a few laughs and help support this forum which provides heaps for gratis.

I have sent out the Roster at the last minute to wait for late contact numbers and volunteers. The system will not let you attach a document to an email so it has taken over an hour to post to every one and you have to wait 3 minutes between posts. Hope all have what they need if not PM me and I'll see what I can do. You all have a nice time yer hear.
