As an acupuncturist I cannot help but comment. We offer great alternatives for this sort of health issues, the acupuncture can be viewed as increasing blood flow to an affected joint or spinal disc, increase blood equals more oxygen and nutrients. I encourage you to try your local acupuncturist if you need an alternative treatment

My sister was recently diagnosed with Steroid-induced Myopathy after years of steroid treatment and mis-diagnosis. A physiotherapist made the diagnosis. She's in a terrible condition and may never recover to her old physically-active self. Look it up and weigh up the risks and benefits.
