Thread: Just an eyelash

Sitting on the couch watching tv last night, about 11, feel a bit of a twinge in the left eye, starts to get more annoying, give it a bit of a rub, starts watering, give it a wipe with a tissue, more annoying, go and have a look in the mirror, nah can't see anything, must have had something on my finger or on the tissue that my eye has reacted to and has all puffed up and itchy, wash it with water and face washer, just dab dab, also a ice pack seems to help, feels a little better so sleep on it, sleep ok, wake up and not really any better, the swelling up and puffy thing has me thinking a trip to hospital, so off we go, much looking at my eye thru a magnifying light gadget, my nose is in the way, eventually they found an eyelash which had scratched the eyeball, it still feels a bit sore but better, I can't understand how or why just an eyelash caused such grief, had them in there many a time before no dramas which is why I thought something else was going on.
