Third ride on the cancer merry go round.
Well the three spots on my lungs have grown, so I started radio therapy last Wednesday, I finish on Friday. So that's four days on the left lung's two spots and four days on the one spot in what's left of the right lung. The radio therapy is called cyberknife radiation therapy, supposed to be more accurate and higher energy. Haven't had any problems so far, except for some discolouration on the back, tiredness and joint pain which will continue for some time after the treatment I'm told as the body continues to cook.
I won't know the results for a few months apparently, but I'm not expecting any miracles. And even if the spots are shrunk, cured, whatever, history tells me the cancer will return, after all this is the third time. Unfortunately, this is my last shot, surgery is out, as I've already lost enough lung through the first surgery and scarring from radiation is quite invasive, so after this treatment the scarring will be at the max.

As I always say; words can't help much.
But I do wish you good luck.
