    Default My Nephew an cancer

Cancer and I hate moaners with a capital M

So it is 7 pm tonight(Friday 23 of July 2021)and I get a call from my elder Sister ,instinctively I can tell something is wrong, and it is her eldest child my Nephew has just had his Second Heart attack, he’s only 30 years old.
Sandra yet again is putting on a brave face but is Sh…. bricks.

The reason we are all concerned is Hamish was Diagnosed With AML. (Acute myeloid leukemia).since he was 13 years old.
And knows more about the Melbourne hospital scene, then all our crapy politicians put together.
He now suffers a host of other diseases associated with spending more than half his life battling to just stay a live.
He has had Leukaemia twice yes twice not just F once.
I’ve seen him on life support twice!
Yet I have never ever heard him moan about being sick,in his own words he just takes it like a boss and gets on with living.
As I right this he his on the operating table having a blockage removed from an artery,!
So if I ever seen cold to a you moaning, I apologised I know-and appreciate we all deal with life in different ways.

    Cheers Matt.

    Matt

Some people just can't take a trick in life. I am so sorry.

    An update
Hamish was given one Stent last night in Ballarat base hospital , before being transferred to Melbourne Royal Melbourne hospital, his preferred facility as he says , and will have further treatment later this week.

    Cheers Matt.

    Gday Matt

Like I always say; words don't help much.
But our thoughts and empathy are with you, and of course Hamish and family.

    Cheers
