Time to get tough, but I doubt that you can do it personally. Talk to your accountant and ask them if they will help you chase the money for a fee. Either that or do you know someone who is a bit bloody minded and will work for a percentage. Some of us should not be in business and I am one, I found it very hard to get money out of people so I worked that out and sold up while I was ahead. I had one customer who had the money he just would not pay up. In the end I walked out to his truck got his cheque book and wrote the cheque out and demanded he sign it. The bottom line is if you can't be a debt collector and want to comtinue in business find someone to do the money bit and you stay out of it. Add their fee to the bill and be happy.

Karl its not a good habit to focus on our disapointments ,its human but a bad idea . People some will pay some will not ,thats what debt collectors are for ! They had no problem screwin you??Its only fair to send some back then drop it . Try and find something each day that makes you happy and center on this . ., With your contracting a folder of jobs completed is a great help,as most wont know what you have in mind .They have their own picture of how it will look ,so you need to get them to explain themselves ,question what they mean .Try and work out a contract for the work involved ,stating exactly what you will do . Good luck and remember in a week or 2 its not a worry ? best regards Bob

all is good now.
people still dont pay but i just keep fixing it till they pay.
but i do have to be careful. cos i work in my local area and my work relies on word of mouth. if i get a bad name the thats it not only do i lose business but also get a bad personal reputation.
people are funny round here. everyone talks.
acording to everyone at teh moment my fatehr has prostate cancer (he is fine) but someone said something to someone now we get 10 calls a day about it. dont they have anything better to do.
anyho im fine i sleep well now.
you know what tehy say.
"ya gotta drink teh froth to get teh beer"
so the way i see it is if i drink enough froth then theres gotta be beer in there someware.
all is good now. sheel be right mate.

I have had great success with Progressive Muscle Relaxation (try Googling it) and also this material is quite informative sleep. It is a short read and put the whole sleep thing into perspective for me. Good luck. I know how difficult not sleeping can be.
