    Question HELP-Farm Machinery Parts

    Hi Everyone,
I have the remnants of a farm machinery business in my work shop and I need to get it out of there. Everything from nuts, bolts, washers, to filters, drums of transmission oil, PTO shafts, shear blades, to a large Case feed auger. There is too much to post photos and the biggest problem is I don't know what most of the things are for. There again there are a large number of parts books and manuals.
Largest portion would be Case parts but also Deutz, New Holland and others.
All of this is new, some in thier boxes. Large springs, etc. are loose and a lot of the nuts, bolts etc. are loose in boxes.
All of this is going CHEAP otherwise it will go to scrap metal - which would be a shame
I have emailed a number of farm machinery businesses but have not had any interest.
Is there some one out there who is interested? or could perhaps give me some suggestions?
Workshop is at Lonsdale, South Australia.

Wood-duck, it sounds like you need to advertise in a few of the specialists magazines, especially farming and such, and have an aucioneer come along a flog the lot. It would be sad indeed to see all of this go to scrap, but not long back I got $100.00 for taking a garden trailer full of old corrugated iron fence sheets in for scrap.

Thanks Buzza, I have had the auctioneers in and they want $1500 just to transport to the rooms - not able to auction on site. And the estimated return was not good. I would like to see it go to the farmers even at scrap prices, listing everything on ebay would take the next 5 years. I have sent out many emails to farm coops and business but they are not interested. The stock journal is my next port of call for the Auger - the parts would need listing which brings me back to the same problem.
The historical Traction site was a great thought thank you. I have sent them an email and photos. There may be some things which may be of use to them before I finish sending to scrap metal.

EBAY is great Ross, I will try some things but we are talking thousands of bits and not enough time.
    Thanks for the suggestion.

No, only that then I would have a reason to buy more toys. Ahhh, the smell of diesel, and fertiliser. Oops, shouldn't say those words in the same sentence!

    Hi David,
Definitely would not fit in a 6 x 4. Price would depend on how much he was interested in - The lot - I have not idea - make me an offer.
I will post some photos to give you an idea of quantity.
