We have 100 acres at Tarago, 40km south of Goulburn and 80km from Canberra where we both work. We have the beginnings of a Highland Pony stud (first foal born on Melbourne Cup day) and we'll also run some cattle; probably Lowlines and Highlands. Also planning to grow truffles. It's undulating pasture with some steep gullys down the back. Would be no more than 5 acres of forest. Just enough room for a 400m airstrip with a slight slope. Currently in the process of building the house after three winters in the shed/hangar. My toy is a 28hp diesel 4wd kubota inclusive of 4-in-1 FEL and a backhoe, plus the usual array of implements such as slasher, disc plough, box scraper etc.
