Hi Ian,
I’m not actually sure how much water we got, this time, (The crappy water gauge ended up in the bin)it was pretty constant all Sunday, but not heavy, Monday was more rain, but we had quite a few dry spells as well.
Locals were recording between 20 mm an 50 mm so not much help there.
On Sunday I walked down too the creek(Dam) an noted about 150mm going over the top, but by yesterday late afternoon it was only about 20 mm or so going over, it’s probably stopped by now,.
The entertainment area out the back had considerable less than before, an there is plans too install a Agie pipe plus a spoon drain as well, behind the area, so fingers crossed this will help considerably with diverting the run off from the top,Plus some vegetation put along the retaining wall edge.
We have been working on fencing of an area behind the entertainment area too house Ruby(6 month old Kelpie) 55 plus treated pine posts 2600 spacing, gives you ruff idea of the area, so the rain as actually in regards too the fence been a bonus as I’ve dug every hole by hand, the neighbour was going too bring up his Auger on the back of his tractor, but he ended up with a Truck bogged a Bob cat bogged plus is tractor bogged, so I just got on with it the manual way,
Crappy pictures
Cheers Matt.

Hi Ian,
Yes the dam, an the water is ours, the water use to be owned by the Water gods, but they dropped a lot of it, so it’s ours now.[emoji849]☔️
Except for the water that ran over the top of the dam, an went down into our neighbours dam, he owns that water now,!!
Basically the Driveway runs up the centre of the property.
Cheers Matt.

You will probably find the water belongs to some gov department. It used to be the case that water belongs to State Rivers or some such. I think any pond over 5 acres was not yours.
