    Default Chair Plan wanted

    I'd like to build then upholster the following chair. Does anyone know of a source for plans of have advice on the upholstery.

    I have now worked out that this style of chair is known as a Parsons chair. The quest still continues to find some plans. I don't expect to find plans that match the picture perfectly, just some thing that will get me headed in the right direction.

    I would copy the dimensions, but make the back legs in one piece. That design would collapse the first time a sitter leant back.

    Yep...it's a pretty basic plan.................more for "show" than "go"

    That chair does not look very stable at all and the quality of the uphostery is nothing to write home about. The chair in your link are of much better quality. I agree with making the back & rear legs as one piece.
