Are my springs ok?
I did a course a few years ago and I am just starting my second project. I have stripped the couch down and the springs look like they have seen better days..... How do I tell if they are still good to use? They seem to be a bit floppy.

spring test
now let me reemeber back 25 years...
give them a stretch, but not too much, see if they spring back, and check for stress marks.
then press them down evenly and see if they spring back ok, most of the spring is in the webbimng and the stuffing anyway
hope this helpsGaz......
In this world there are people who allow dogs in their lives, and people that cats allow in theirs.
