35+ years ago, I heard of a fox hunter/shooter, that specialised in the area around Flinders St Station Melbourne CBD. Apparently, at that time, foxes were in abundant supply in that area.

I pulled up in the dark to a job in Malvern last year to see a great big fox fossicking through the bin on the road. I've got pics but they are on my laptop which I have left in the office. This thing was huge.
Also saw a number of them when I was doing a job at Skevs in Toorak which is right on the river.
