Default Holiday fun with the dawns

Holidaying on the south coast of WA with the Doggies.

They sleep in a wire crate under the awning - they also travel in a crate in the station wagon

The Bibulman Track passes through the area so we can do a very short walk with them on this 600 km long track

Last tuesday the older dog Willow tried out to be a Therapy Dog at a local senior citz centre and she was a real hit.
The oldies just loved her to bits - here she is with 96 year old WWII vet Charlie.

It's amazing how they scene the right behaviour with the old, disabled and babies.

Ye[ that quite interesting how they seen to know.

We were a bit worried because she's not 100% on "not jumping up" on people. It's weird because even though she runs over to greet strangers in parks or on the street she never jumps up on them, but when she's on a leash somehow she thinks she can do this even though we're pretty firm with her.

I haven't posted any picks of the BCs for a while mainly because I haven't taken many, but we recently came back from our annual camping trip on the south coast of WA so here are a few from our time down there

When Skye pup arrived our back lawn looked like this.
Willow had done her digging as a pup in the "not usually accessed side of the house and torn up all the retic wires so as I did not want to go through that again I fenced that side of the house off.

6 months later, after multiple re-enactments of great historical battles (the latest one looks like Hannibal's defeat at Carthage) it looks like this.
This is after filling in about a dozen holes in the last week
    New Family member-img_3837-jpg

It got worse with only a few runners at the very edge of the lawn are left and at that stageSWMBO wanted me to dig up the remainder and install new roll on lawn.

As usual I procrastinated, although I did eventually fence off the lawn and did nothing else but put water on it.
