Re: New Family member
What a beautiful collie! They are certainly naughty when they're pups!
That's my boy. He'll be 3 in January. A bit of a different border collie. Complete white head and one Blue eye. I absolutely love the little rascal!

Not at all.
I've since found out that dogs do see blues and yellows but all light reds and oranges are seen as yellows, and greens are seen as yellow shading to grey.
So instead of ROYGBIV they see black, grey, yellow, grey, blue, indigo and violet.
Our dog is besotted by the TV and will watch it for great lengths of the day if we leave it on, her favourites are the kids programs (colour and movement). She gets really upset and barks like crazy if there is any agro, like a punch up, on the screen and she will attack the screen if we let her.
Whenever I show a vid clip on the computer she also goes around the back to look for the things on the screen.

Cheers Floody - yeah she's just one so she's still just a pup.
Amongst other things I call her thundering water buffalo because she jumps in her paddle pool and then rolls in the garden and then thunders thru the house.
She also gets called other things - can't mention most of them here.

Willow had her first sheep herding experience last night.
She was sooooooo keen to get in there amongst the sheep.
The trainer is fantastic her - I think she got more training with the trainer in 15 minutes than we have been able to apply in 12 months.
I can't believe how she just started doing the herding thing so naturally - previous to this the only herding experience she has was herding the kids at the park.
It also pooped her out so much she was sick in the car on the way home

Willow is getting a sister, we pic up tonight, will post pics when I can.
[EDIT] Sorry, pickup Postponed till wednesday night
New BC puppy is a leftover pup from a working dog breeder (Marrionvale Working Dogs) latest BC litter.
This is the same place where Willow does her sheep herding.
This is Dad (Boylee Barney)
Mum (Jess) is a smoothcoat tricolour.
New female pup is a medium coat tricolour.
We didn't set out to get a working dog with a pedigree but we were totally sucked in when we saw her.
We're hoping that new pup and Willow will keep each other Company.
Willow is really starting to calm down after a couple of sheep herding exercises.
She loves it and it fair tuckers her out for the following 24 hours.

Gorgeous dog. My GF got a bichon/shitzu, all it does is crap and yap. Atleast it's an outside dog. I have to be really careful not to leave any tools or other gear out, because she climbs like a cat and will chew it up in minutes. The way she chases the lizards and frogs about, I reckon she'd have a fair go at some sheep too :P

Willow Versus Skye
It looks like murder on the back lawn but they go at this for hours and sometimes it looks like they're kissing or laughing.
