The brown one started that when she was a pup and the old black one was such a softy that he just let her. Even when she grew to almost the same size as him (he was large for the breed), she still lay on top of him, though it became quite a comical balancing act at times to remain on top.

Otto is 15 1/2, can hardly walk now and is definitely in the twilight of his life. I don't think we have too much time left together.
