Hi Pete
No problem Sue completed all plying today next stage wash (this helps set the twist) hung out to dry and then knit.
The carder was bought from a spinners guild member its hand crank I want to fit an old sewing machine motor to it manufactured think by Ashford NZ
The spinning wheel is a Wee Peggy another NZ company made them Sue's had for 12 years also 2nd hand bought from a lady from Armidale when we lived in Tamworth, approx 30 years old still solid as a rock (although last night I noticed two cracks forming in the main base) more repair work maybe hope .
she has two other wheels an Ashford Traditional she hope to be selling and an Upright Sickinger (not sure on the spelling) Its made in the Coff's Harbour hinterland Dorigo area guy still makes them a member past away and Sue was offered it at a bargain price.
Where abouts in the UK Pete have relations in Durham area.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but here's a challenge to all you dog fanciers.
Hunt down the book "Marley and Me", and read it all the way through without blubbering.
My old mate Boris is having a great time chasing balls around in the clouds as well.
