    Default 10x10mm pine

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to track down some 10mmx10mm pine (or similar) for a project, just wondering if anyone knows where I could get some of this, preferably in Brisbane, but anywhere would do (only needs to be lengths of 50mm). Bunnings only has 9x9 or 12x12...

    Thanks in advance.

you will need to get in machined from 12x12 down to 10x10, as this is not a stadard size, a joinery shop or maybe a forum member can do this, timber yard may have trouble as its so small a size

I'm in Sinnamon Park, you're right about it being non-standard as no one seems to have it!

    Default How wmuch

How much do you need? When?
If sufficient, a mill will process for you.
Mal at Boutique Timbers can cut dry logs at 10x10 for you, but you would need to resaw into the lenghts you want.
He's at the Melbourne wood show this weekend but back at Port macquarie next weekend

Finlayson's list 11x11 as a standard size, clear or FJ. At a guess I'd say if you pick through the pile you might find an undersize 10x10.

I only need about 6 50mm lengths so it's probably not worth their while.

I can supply you with 10x10 in radiata or hoop pine or a few others or anything else if you supply it, but it might cost you a bottle of wine. I'm in Kenmore.
