12mm Dressed Soft Pine for Boxes in Northern/western suburbs Melbourne
Hi, i'm looking to make some wine boxes made from pine as gifts for a party. I've seen other boxes made from 12mm dressed pine and would like to get a hold of some at a good price. (other than from Bunnings!)
Does anyone know of a timber supplier in the northern or western suburbs of Melbourne, or even central Vic, that might stock large quantities of this type of dressed pine board at wholesale prices?
Or even just pine timber that would be normally used for making pallettes and crates and I can dress it myself?
Thanks,
Mat

You could try Matthews timber as they might have pine in the size that you need.

Well after lots of research and phone calls, i found a place in Monegeetta (just south of Romsey) call 'Frost's Sawmill'.
They have 4.8m lengths of 12mm x 140mm dressed pine for a great price of $2.40 per metre. Will cut to size.
Very helpful and friendly place to buy things also.
