    Amazing size in those trees.
Very rare these days of course.

If a man voices an opinion alone in the forest
and there is no woman there to hear him ......
    is he still wrong?

I realise that it's nature at work but a sad event all-the-same.

    Dr4g0nfly,

I agree , however the wood will not go to waste, even if left where it fell .

it will break down to feed new growth, but I wouldn't mind a few cu ft for projects,.

Yes 17ft if Mods could alter title please worst of B%$$ metric being of the age when the change over took place working in both as I still do.

Love the words "will be cut up for fire wood" tree that size could keep turners going for (well 2 weeks) the rest of us months, pen turners century's

By heck that was quick Thanks Mod's

Um does anyone know if the logs are going to be milled or left to rot, thought its a sight to see it'd be a shame to see them rot when there could be a lot of usefull wood?

Found it amusing that the forestry lady was worried more about the track being blocked.

Just have to go around now wont we.
