5 x 10 or 6 x 12 (mm) pine strips
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone uses 5 x 10 or 6 x 12 (mm) pine strips or may know a way of obtaining some (probably need about 15 metres).
Thank you,

Your local big green box might have something similar in its moulding selection.
Otherwise, why don't you rip some 6mm strips from a 12mm thick plank, which nearly all hardware stores sell? If you don't have access to a planer and thicknesser you can still get a smooth finish with a circular saw if the blade is sharp, you use pressure fingers or similar to hold it rigidly to the fence and don't rush it!

Pine strips
I sell 20 x 6 mm DAR strips to Kayak builders for $1.54 per L/M. I also sell 50 x 8 or 6 or 4.5 mm strips to hollow surfboard builders. These can be modified to individual requirements or made specially (10 x 5 or 12 x 6) without much trouble. The price would be adjusted accordingly. They are not pine but Paulownia. See my web site paulownia-timber-sales.com.au or PM if your interested. Length of the strips and the packing are considerations but can be overcome.

I think shipping would be too expensive as a low quality wood is a requirement.
Thanks John
