Acacia cambagei vs. Acacia georginae
Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me the differences between the two Acacia trees; A. cambagei and A. georginae. I am told that the are neighbors in a genetic sense.

I have read that the density of the timber is 1330 kg/m^3 whereas Gidgee is 1345kg/m^3.
Any thoughts?

Here are some occurrence maps derived from Flora of Australia Volumes 11A (2001), 11B (2001) and 12 (1998), products of ABRS, ©Commonwealth of Australia. The "171 map is A. cambagei and the 170 map is A. georginae.
Apparently, A. georginae can be distinguished from A. cambagei by virtue of having "broader, strongly curved pods." This can be seen in the two attachments from World Wide Wattle.
