How to get ACQ or Losp palings?
Hi there I'm one more lurker in this forum but today I have to ask for some help.
I want to buy some palings to make the cladding for my son's cubby house but I only can find CCA treated pine. Does any body now where I can get ACQ or Losp treated pine in 100x15 or 100x10 or even 150x15 anything that could be the cladding for this house?
I am living in Brisbane and have tried Narangba timbers, Jonh Gill, VSH and others and nobody knows where I can get it.
Thanks

I'm guessing you don't want to use CCA because it's poisonous? Unless your son has a habit of eating timber then CCA will be fine, skin contact will have no effect. The only way the treatment could harm your kid is if it leeched out of the timber (soaked in water) and then was ingested, which is very unlikely.
Plus you won't be able to buy ACQ palings, if you're still worried then buy untreated hardwood

Thanks for the advise. I probably will paint the interior to take the worry from my mind.
