Acquiring Kwila
I am a new member and am having problems (buying Kwila and at reasonable prices). I am looking at Central and Southern Queensland. Could someone please offer some suggestions.:confused:

I built my queen size bed out of Kwilla (see my website if interested). I bought mine from Aussie Timbers in Nerang on the Gold Coast some time ago, but wasn't cheap. Not sure if they still stock it, but maybe a bit far away for you.

its pretty commonly available at general timber merchants..
Try Steve Tresize in Towwoomba...
theres also regular imports of the stuff at various brisbane suppliers..
that place at Rocklea, just as u go left off the main hiway..heaps of it..
also offcuts often found at tip..

Finding kwila
Thanks for all the info on finding kwila.
I have checked all of the places you fellows mentioned
and have some better prices and amounts in stock
than I can buy localy.
