What's wrong with right here on this board? Cheaper than a magazine and your ad would probably be seen by more people anyway.

Thanks Tristan. I expect that the buyer will be from a high end custom cabinet shop or similar. The timber will be only be sold as a job lot (322 bd.ft.)with all cut from the same old growth tree and mainly bookmatched pieces with high figure. Timber of this quality, colour and figure is rare
I'll put a listing in the buy/swap/sell section but to be fair , I think the best result will come from an ad in one of the southern papers. Just a matter of finding out which one is the most suitable.

I'd be calling all of the dealers in cabinet timbers - Trend, Anagote etc - and then all of the likely cabinet shops. I gotta believe the direct approach has got to be your best bet.
You could try ads in the Australian Woodworker and Australian Wood Review, but their lead times might be a killer. I doubt you'd do much good with the Trading Post, but it might be worth a shot in the major papers - Sydney Morning Herald etc - in the appropriate classifieds category.
I'd grab some myself in a second if a local-ish dealer picks it up.

Dave.
Albany and, in particular, Denmark on the south coast of WA are the high end craft places in this neck of the woods, while Pemberton and Manjimup in the forests and Bunbury and its surrounding towns on the west coast from here are the same for the south west. They all have their local papers and may be worth a try. http://www.liswa.wa.gov.au/wacountnews.html
This site would give you a start, but is not a complete list.
If you like to give me an idea as to price, I will talk to my contacts. You have my email address, I think.
It only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.
