Thankyou all for your help!. Well, the latest news is that it has all been approved, so we will be moving these pews on in the next couple of months or so.

I will be looking a little more seriously into various options, including offering them to church members, but my hope is that will be able to offer some up on this forum. I will post a link here to any thread that I may offer these on, so watch/subscribe to this thread if interested.

    Thanks again!

Wow, it has been over a year since I last posted on this, but finally things are really moving, and hopefully in the next couple of months I will have a final date of disposal for the existing pews.

There are already a couple of pews (and things that are sort of like pews but with no seating area - more like a long barrier) that available for removal, but their state is not as good as the ones the main building, so probably best for repurposing the timber. I am willing to give these away for free immediately to whomever is interested and willing to remove them, as you would be doing us a big favour and freeing up the space where they are currently stored.

If you have any interest in these pews, please PM me. They will be from Chatswood Presbyterian Church, and you are always welcome to come along on a Sunday to have a look at them and have morning tea with us.

    Hello All,

I have 9 of these pews to give away for free.

They must be picked up from Chatswood on Saturday 3rd November between 10am and 3pm and you must supply your own help in moving them from their current location to your transport.

Please PM me if you are interested.

    Regards,
    Edwin

Agathis Ovata grows in New Caledonia.
Agathis Dammara was once recognised as Microstachys though...MM
