    Default African Meranti? Oak, Teak?

    I posted awhile ago about timber and windows. We have finally chosen a window company, and they have given me a quote for African Meranti Timber. Does anyone know anything about it? I have not heard great things about Australian Meranti, but apparently African Meranti is better?

    They also say they offer Oak and Teak, I have not found out exactly which type yet or how much they impact the price of the windows. Would either Oak or Teak be good for Windows?
