    Default Another what have I got

    Neighbors were having a tree cut down the other day.
    I was able to grab two large rounds from the nature strip before all the other sc.......... found them for fire wood [emoji849]

    No idea what timber it is !!

    Gee they look like Mango leaves. The bark and timber could be right too, but I'm no expert.

    Sorry my fault again.
    This was cut down in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne Australia.
    I do vaguely remember the tree being quite tall.
    Way above the single story house.
    The two rounds I got are about 400/500 mm diameter too.

    Does look a little bit like Mango, but given you are in Melb and the tree being so big, it is unlikely. I am not familiar with Sweet Pittosporum but they are common down your way

    leaves and bark don't look right for sweet pittosporum will post pics or sweet pittosporum later
