    Default Athertonia diversifolia (Atherton oak)

Well, it would seem that this is a first for the Woodwork Forums.

    Atherton oak.

This is a sample piece that's going to Paolo at chatoyance.com. Unfortunately I do not have any quarter sawn pieces, only flat. I'd liked to have seen a whole piece of this. Apologies for the second photo that appears to have been taken with a potato.

Very interesting. Is it all like that or is that piece special?
    Apologies for unnoticed autocomplete errors.
