Athertonia diversifolia (Atherton oak)
Well, it would seem that this is a first for the Woodwork Forums.
Atherton oak.
This is a sample piece that's going to Paolo at chatoyance.com. Unfortunately I do not have any quarter sawn pieces, only flat. I'd liked to have seen a whole piece of this. Apologies for the second photo that appears to have been taken with a potato.
