Aussie "Cottage" Timbers?
From our Australian species what are our "cottage type timbers" that we use in "Cottage" furniture?
For example what is our equivalent of English or American Oak?

Red cedar, silky oak, Tas myrtle, Kauri (OK, it's Unzud but there's so much over here).
